Privacy policy

This statement describes which data may be processed when you visit this website or contact Schlüsseldienst Hammerschmidt Berlin.

German and EU data-protection law applies to this service. The contact details below may be used for privacy enquiries.

1. Controller

Paul Gammershmidt Schlüsseldienst Hammerschmidt Berlin Leibnizstraße 25, Charlottenburg, 10625 Berlin, Germany Telephone: +4915215033843 Email: paul.hammerschmidt.notdienst@gmail.com

2. Optional audience measurement and consent

Google Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics are loaded only when they are configured and you actively consent to optional audience measurement. Accept and reject are equally accessible, and the website remains fully usable without consent.

Your choice is stored locally in the browser so it does not need to be requested on every page view. You can change it at any time through the privacy-settings control. Advertising personalisation and advertising storage are not part of the intended measurement.

3. Hosting and server log files

When the website is requested, the hosting provider processes technically necessary access data so that the site can be delivered, secured and operated reliably. This may include the IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser, operating system, transferred volume and server status.

The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure and fault-free website operation. Server logs are retained only for as long as required for security, fault analysis and operation.

4. Telephone, email and WhatsApp

When you contact the business by telephone, email or WhatsApp, the information you provide is processed to assess, answer and carry out the requested locksmith service. This may include your name, telephone number, service address, photographs of the door or lock, invoice details and the content of the conversation.

WhatsApp is an external service. If you use WhatsApp, the terms and privacy information of WhatsApp/Meta also apply. You may contact the business by telephone or email instead.

5. Privacy-minimised call-click measurement

When a telephone button is selected, a necessary technical event may be sent independently of optional audience measurement. It identifies the page and button that initiated the call and never blocks the telephone link.

The event contains random event and request IDs, the page path, CTA label, language version, a coarse viewport bucket, coarse device/browser classes, country only when supplied by the host, and timestamps. Caller numbers, exact IP addresses, exact locations, full referring URLs and raw user-agent strings are not stored in this event. Beacon retries are deduplicated.

Processing is based on legitimate interests in abuse prevention, technical control and improving contact availability. Optional Google Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics collection is activated only after consent. Privacy-minimised Web Vitals contain route, device class and release identifiers but no query strings or direct identifiers.

6. Privacy-minimised session replay

To improve usability, the page structure together with interactions such as mouse movement, scrolling and clicks may be technically recorded (session replay). Recording runs exclusively on this website's own server; no third-party provider is involved.

Form inputs are masked in the browser before transmission and are never stored in plain text. Exact IP addresses are not part of the recording. Recordings can only be viewed with an access key, are limited to ten minutes per session and are deleted automatically after 14 days at the latest.

The legal basis is the legitimate interest in analysing and improving the usability of this website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may object informally by email to paul.hammerschmidt.notdienst@gmail.com.

7. External links and map profiles

The website links to external profiles such as Google Maps and the Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, Bing Maps, Yelp, Facebook, Gelbe Seiten and other directories. You leave this website only after selecting a link. The privacy rules of the respective provider then apply.

8. Reviews, updates and photographs

Public reviews and updates may be summarised or reproduced on this website. Names are shortened or reduced to initials where possible. Job photographs are used only when unnecessary personal details are absent or have been obscured.

9. Invoice and job data

Invoice details, service data, the job location, payment status and tax-relevant information may be processed to perform and account for a job. These records are retained in accordance with statutory retention obligations.

10. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.
