Charlottenburg invoice process

Door opening with an invoice in Charlottenburg: scope, payer and receipt.

An invoice documents the real service; it does not replace authorisation or create an unsecured promise to pay. The ordering person, responsible payer and billing recipient should be distinguished before work.

Paul Gammershmidt, owner and working locksmith in Berlin

Fluent English · direct owner contact

You can speak to me in English.

I speak English fluently. I may initially answer the phone in German because I work in Berlin; simply speak to me in English and I will switch immediately. You speak directly with me—the locksmith who clarifies the door situation, explains the price components, travels to you, carries out the agreed work and issues the invoice.

What to expect

Clear emergency process, no mystery price game.

I ask what happened, where you are, whether the door is shut or locked, whether the key is inside or lost, and whether an invoice is needed. Then I give a realistic arrival and price range.

Simple shut door

Damage-minimising opening first if the latch can be reached.

Locked door / lost key

May require drilling, pulling or cylinder replacement after explanation.

Company invoice

Billing address, e-mail and service details can be recorded.

Maps & route

Google, Apple and Bing route/profile links are available.

Ordering person, authorised contact and payer can differ

A tenant, employee, hotel reception and property manager may not carry the same authority or payment responsibility. Clarify who orders, who may approve the work and whose legal details belong on the invoice.

The invoice follows the actual service

Depending on the job, it can show opening, time surcharge, travel, material, replacement cylinder or technically necessary special work as separate positions.

Invoice does not mean dispatch on an IOU

Private emergency work is normally paid after completion and then invoiced electronically. A company or contractual payment arrangement must be agreed before dispatch with complete billing information.

Direct English contact and authorisation

I speak English fluently and handle accepted jobs myself. Before travelling I clarify the exact address, door condition, entitlement to access and the likely method. Work on shared, business or third-party property requires a clearly authorised contact.

Price components before the method starts

A straightforward shut but unlocked door in the nearby core area starts from 70 €. A fixed 20 € surcharge applies from 22:00 to 09:00, on weekends and public holidays. Travel, material, replacement parts and technically necessary destructive work are explained separately.

24h reachable

I am reachable day and night. Arrival still depends on route and current job.

Invoice possible

Useful for offices, hotels, landlords, property managers and insurance.

FAQ

Questions about door opening invoice Charlottenburg

Can the invoice be issued to my company?

Yes, when legal name, billing address, contact and authorised order are supplied before completion.

Can I pay by card and still receive an invoice?

Yes. Payment method and invoice are separate; the electronic invoice documents the completed service.

Can a property manager set a cost limit?

Yes. Contact, property, access, approved scope and billing details should be recorded before work.

Can I explain the case in English?

Yes. Start speaking English and I will switch immediately. A clear photo of the fitting, cylinder and door gap can improve the first assessment.

Will I receive an invoice?

Yes. Private customers receive an electronic invoice after payment. Companies and authorised contractual clients can provide complete billing details before the job.

Is drilling always necessary?

No. A shut door is assessed for damage-minimising methods first. Drilling, pulling or replacement is discussed only when the locked or defective mechanism makes it technically necessary.
